In 2024, First Flame was part of something a little wild, a little genius—and now, internationally awarded.
We partnered with the team at Thinkerbell to create Scene:Scents, a scent-driven campaign for Binge Originals that pushed the boundaries of what a candle can do. Designed to burn in sync with TV episodes, these custom candles released scents to match the mood of each scene—seaside, brewery, even cigarette smoke.
The candles were released as collectible box sets for three hit series: Colin From Accounts, Strife, and The Twelve.
It was one of those dream projects that starts with “Can we really pull this off?” and ends with international recognition. Scene:Scents was named a finalist in the 2025 D&AD Awards, widely regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious benchmarks for creative work in design and advertising.
